Green Promises
A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
At Jamie Oliver Kitchen Kuta Bali, we nourish our guests and the planet. That’s why we’ve eliminated plastic straws and packaging for takeaway orders and source local, seasonal produce whenever we can to reduce our carbon footprint. We keep transport distances low to support local farmers and fishermen, and work closely with ethical producers that follow our core sustainability values.
Our vibrant menus are planned carefully and we use every part of an ingredient in our dishes to avoid overstocking and prevent food waste. So every time you have a meal with us, you’re not only experiencing the spirit of Jamie’s incredible food journey, you’re supporting a greener, more beautiful future.
As part of a proud B-Corp company, we’ve committed to revolutionise what our guests and the world eats, one meal at a time. Together, we can make mealtimes more healthy, sustainable and fairer for all.
In our commitment to a sustainable future, Jamie Oliver Kitchen Kuta Beach has implemented several green initiatives that positively impact the local community.
Beach cleanups: We regularly remove plastic and other debris to protect the marine ecosystem and keep our coastline pristine.
Reusable bag initiative: We provide reusable bags to local market sellers, buyers and elementary schools to cut single-use plastic waste.
Sustainable sourcing: We source local and fair-trade ingredients and limit deliveries to 3 to 4 times a week to reduce our carbon footprint.
Mangrove planting & reforestation program: We restore natural habitats and fight climate change through brilliant planting programs.
Supporting turtle conservation: We participate in turtle releases and raise awareness about their importance.
School visits: We educate the next generation on environmental sustainability and the future of our beautiful planet.
At Jamie Oliver Kitchen Kuta Beach, we proudly support organisations making a real difference for our planet.
Kuta Beach Turtle Conservation: We encourage guests to join local conservation efforts and to participate in turtle releases to protect this endangered species.
Ecotourism Mangrove Wanasari Tuban: We promote responsible tourism by supporting this initiative that offers educational tours through the mangrove forest.
Yayasan Bali Lestari Hijau: Yayasan Bali Hijau Lestari, a dedicated organisation committed to preserving Bali's natural beauty, has partnered with Hard Rock to launch a reforestation initiative. Now, 4,000 trees are to be planted in the Kintamani village, Bangli and Rendang Village Karangasem, to help restore Bali's lush forests.
